Bokong Falls, Sagada’s Small Wonder

November 30, 2008

I’ve only been to Bokong Falls (Small Falls as people refer to it in relation to the much bigger Bomod-ok Falls) and the one time that I went there, it happened to be raining. So not surprisingly, the water was brownish from the soil that was washed away from the mountains and rice terraces.

Happy Sagada Trip

November 8, 2008

Two years ago, I went to Sagada with some of my college friends. It was a very fun and memorable trip. How happy were we? I guess you can tell with our smiles. It’s me with Andrea and Biela and it was taken beside the St. Mary’s Church.

Passing By Sagada Cemetery

October 31, 2008

Since it’s All Saints’ Day and millions of Filipinos are in the cemeteries, I’ll just post this photo of Sagada cemetery taken as me and my best bud were walking past through it on our way to Echo Valley. The cemetery is nicely located on top of a hill just behind the St. Mary’s Church.

Masferre Restaurant

October 19, 2008

One of the best places to have breakfast in Sagada is at the Masferre Restaurant. It’s just a few steps from the town hall. I love to sit by the window and look at the trees behind the St. Mary’s Church. Sometimes I could see cows grazing at the early hours of the morning. Masferre [...]

She’s Going to Baguio

September 20, 2008

My girlfriend will be going to Baguio this Wednesday and stay there for a few days. She’s going to train some newly-hired employees. I would have loved to go with her but I can’t take leave from my job. Aarrgh! Just the thought that Sagada is just six hours away from Baguio makes my feet [...]

Of Rain and Landslides

September 9, 2008

It has been raining for the past couple of days. I’m not sure if there’s a storm approaching, but it sure feels like it. I’ve just closed the windows because the strong winds are bringing in some rain water inside the house. Whenever it rains, I always wonder if it’s also raining at that moment [...]
