“Too Many Walls” On A Rainy Afternoon

by admin

It’s been raining almost every afternoon here in Manila and right this moment as I’m typing this post, it’s raining so hard I can barely hear the whirring sound of the electric fan beside me.

I’m not sure why but every time it rains, the first song that comes to my mind is Cathy Dennis’s 90s hit “Too Many Walls”.

Yeah. I’m not kidding. And together with “Somewhere Out There”, these are the two songs that suddenly give me flashes of my childhood and wish that I am a kid again.

Well, probably I just loved these songs when I was a small boy and they got stuck in my head.

This video I got from YouTube… aahh too many memories…

Hi, good posts, You write well…and I like the video. I can see you’re from Sagada? I’m from that part of the mountains too.

All the best and happy blogging.

@Callcentergal

Yup. Ang mga tao normal na napapakanta pag umuulan.

@Jena

Hi. I’m not from Sagada. I just fell in love with the place. I’ve been there a handful of times. I just can’t get it off my head.

I also like that song. The message is quite sad but the song’s not enough for me to drive into tears. It brings back memories too.
