Sometimes when people find out that I’ve been to Sagada a number of times, they would ask me a lot of questions about what’s the place like, what are the best sights to visit, how much budget should they prepare and the likes.
Don’t get me wrong, although I enjoy answering their queries, there are moments when I’m too busy at work and they would pop a question through email, IM or sms. Whenever I find the time, I answer them back in as much full details as I can provide.
Or if they are in a hurry to know (too eager I’d say), I just point them to two sites I find very helpful if you’re planning a trip to Sagada: VisitSagada and Sagada Igorot Online.
The latter site, I believe was an update of the old “Kamulo and Kosta’s Home: Breathtaking Sagada, Philippines and the Proud Igorot People.” This was the site I relied heavily for info when I planned my first Sagada trip about 3 years ago. The new website is better, actually, I just kinda miss the feel the of the old one.
VisitSagada on the other hand is equally laden with info. They’ve got contact numbers to a number of inns (this is very useful, especially if you’re planning to go on a peak season). They also have great tips to make you a well-prepared Sagada traveler.
