My girlfriend surprised me on my birthday with the most wonderful gift I have ever received.
It’s the North Face Heckler adventure daypack.
It has a foam back panel, two mesh pockets for water bottles, a waist belt to help ease up the load from my back, and a secondary compartment with an organizer. Hah! Those are great features I don’t get from my other run-of-the-mill backpacks.
And that secondary compartment is very handy as it comfortably and safely holds my Eee PC.
It just took me a while to like the name. ‘Heckler’. I find it weird naming an adventure backpack a Heckler. Oh well, what’s with a name, right? A rose is still a rose even if you call it… dung.
I love my pack. And I love my girlfriend. They’re the best!
